Copying movies from HDD to USB stick problem!

Trying to copy a load of torrented movies from my hdd to a friends usb stick. However, once the movie has copied to the usb stick it wont fecking play!!

Keep getting a wmp cant play this file bullshit, and vlc, just nothing happens!

Wtf am i doing wrong here?

.avi file i think. I go to the location in my hdd, right click on the file/film, then send to usb stick. It copies over but won't play. They play fine on my pc.

using windows 8?

Ok, well the only thing I would do is re-download it, or try from a different site. You know you can still get on the bay, right?

Yeah, havent used the bay for a while, but i'll give it a shot. Cheers.

Thing is though, he uses the same site as me as i invited him. Just giving him a few movies as he doesnt have a lot of download credit, but the ones he has downloaded onto his stick work for him as he has watched them, but don't work for me, even through VLC, which i thought plays just about anything.

No idea I'm afraid. last idea is file type association and make sure vlc is up to date.

Must be his bloody usb stick! Copied one over to mine and it worked fine.

Format the stick to FAT 32.

Yeah make sure the stick is the right format mate. Some limitations between formats
