Id put money on that blowing up if you give it some, cossies do not like to be mounted in FWD application, they suffer from oil starvation if you dont have a dry sump fitted. A friend of mine has found this out the hard way twice and its pretty much impossible to mount a off the shelf dry sump pump on the engine as there is not enough room in the bay. His cousin also fitted a YB to his series 1 RS turbo and that also shat itself due to oil starvation.
