Cost of running a Cup car

I'm guessing it's the sequential box that would cost. Looking at using it as a track day car with other possibilities......sprints and hillclimbs.

Give fred/ mark fish a ring, see how much they'd charge for gearbox maintenance mate, and whether its just oil, or full rebuils they need, and how often. Guessing they wont need doing as often as when racing.

Other than that can just see it being brakes pads/ tyre's. Should get lots of wheel/ tyre set ups with most ex racer packages though to help you out.

Could you live with a left hand drive?

Would you sva it, or get a trailer?

The box on the foreign cars is better and stand up more dpends if you disconnect the spark cut how long they last disconnect it and its slightly quicker but damaged the box keep it connected and its very reliable you'd idealy chnage the oil loads anyway so should be fine depending on abuse.

I'd get it SVA'd would be easy and make checking it out pre track days etc easier.

or just lift your foot off the throttle to take load off the engine for longer.

Agree, top quality box oil will save you lots of repair bills.

Yep very true.

I'd love one. Have to make it RHD just to be different though I would.
