Could removing the acoustic valve cause limp mode?

  clio 172 cup
I have had my 172 for a couple of months now i removed the acoustic valve and disconnected the seatbelt beeper by moving the metal pin inside the buckle on the same day then the next day my car went into limp mode got a mate of mine to run it through clip at renault and the only open fault was the acoustic valve circuit everything was reset and had no problems with it for 6 weeks, but it went back into limp mode yesterday is it worth me putting the acoustic valve back on, or will it be the usual suspects that are at fault, pedal, tb etc
