Couple of Firefox Q's

OK i'm going to try and give Firefox another go as i still prefer the smoothness of IE7 so i've got a couple of questions.

1) Which add-ons are really worth getting? Can be anything from themes to security stuff to making it run smoother.

2) I've imported my favourites from IE but if i go to the toolbar and, for example, type in 'C' it will not bring up a list of my bookmarks beginning with 'C'. Instead i have to go through the bookmark menu and scroll down the list to find the one i want, which i find a bit annoying. Is there a way to change this?

3) Is there a way to have more than two homepages open up in diff tabs?

The one addon you really have to get is adblock plus

Any adverts it misses, just right click on them and choose "Adblock image"

Getting on better with this now. I like the built in spell checker!

Still can;t find one for my bookmarks though so looks like i'll have to live with it. It's not a problem unless i clear my history anyway.
