Couple of question about switching from talktalk to o2 broadband

I’m looking into switching my broadband to o2 and there are a couple of things I’m unsure of and wondering if any of you guys could help. I’m on talktalk at the moment and I know you need a BT phone line for o2 broadband so would I have to wait till the BT line is up and running before ordering broadband with o2 leaving me without internet for a while, and also the phone line wouldn’t be in my name would I still be able to get o2 broadband for £7.34 because i'm the only one in the house with o2 contract

I Would imagine the broadband would need to be set up in your name as it uses your current 02 login details to view your BB bills etc.
But i dont think it matters whos name the phone line is in!

^Correct. I pay for my o2 broadband but the landline is in my landladies name.
