yeh was in east lane m8,picked the cup back up today,a didnt pay for the rack a kicked up f**k with them cos a only bought the car about 5 wks ago and the rack was buggered,they were quite happy to pay for new one and fit.
oh and the 1.2 did get abused,was surprised how well it went.

When i test drove the 1.2 turbo i found it felt a fair bit quicker than my 1.2 16v when driving around town due to the extra torque low down but when gunning it didnt feel much quicker especially in 1st and 2nd it did pull better in 3rd but not worth the upgrade imo.

didnt exactly pin you in the seat but the speedo wasnt shy in moving.

I had a 1.2 16v nissan micra (54 plate?) from a coachworks when one of my previous cars was vandalized for a whole week.

it was not fast compared to mine, and it was a road going boat, but fook me I had some fun lol

when I gave it back the poor thing sounded like a bag of nails. I was frightened I was gonna get come backs.. but after a month went by I felt relieved I didn't get any.

it was making a clonking noise as you pulled away if you even slightly put your foot down in 1st. 3rd gear started crunching.

those nissans really do not stand up to punishment ONE bit..

hit 125 in it late at night on my private run way too!! (indicated speed anyway)

R1XPH upgraded his 1.2 16v ripcurl to a 1.2 16v Turbo and hasn't regretted it! Torque is really amazing on it though I thought whilst following him to Castle Combe in my 1.4
