crack in windscreen

noticed a small stone chip crack in my windscreen.
whats the best advice?

im with elephant and have the windscreen cover thing... altho i noticed it says "if you claim for windscreen damage the following excess applies : £70"

you can get stone chips done for free ....... i'm pretty sure of it .
this will not affect your police or cost you anything

just get ya arse down to a local super market as most places have these stands with "FREE yes free window screen repairs" all over the car park

That stone chip has been there since I bought it btw sam. I've been through 2 mot's with it since then and not had a problem and it never got any worse, so its not a major problem for MOT time or anything if you were worried about that.

With Elephant you only pay if you need the screen replacing, they don't charge if they just repair the chip.

i had two on mine when i bought it, lasted almsot 2 years... then woosh, big crack, new windscreen £170 when u could have go auto glass to fix the chip or even go halfrauds and get a lil kit to do it yourself.

I playd ur game before nad from now on I would deffo get it fixd sooner rather than later.

Word of warning though, it won't affect your no-claims on your policy...but will affect your price come renewal! Just tread carefully.
