Awesome video!

I've watched quite a bit of hillclimb stuff on youtube. You get all sorts of cars, proper variety and people driving them on the limit. Do they get to drive the track slowly first to see how the corners go etc or are they driving blind? Lot of what looked like quite silly mistakes in that video but it's easy to say that from the comfort of my house..

z8jay - theres a hillclimb near me occasionaly. They do practice runs in the morning to learn the track if needs be then the event with timed sessions is in the afternoon. Id assume thats what other courses do too

You usually get a few practice runs before your timed run I think.

Know a lad who does a lot of hillclimbing in Croatia, he's fairly quick.
