Crackle/Wrinkle paint on Cam cover

  RB 182
Any tips/advice on what needs to be done to do a proper job on this? I've cleaned and had the cam cover dipped in work. I think I've read somewhere that you need to key in and primer even with VHT paint?

On a slight side note, I can only find black, red and grey crackle paint, anyone know where I can get orange?

Crackle paint isn't too common from what I know matey. I'd check the back of the can you use but I'm pretty sure that primer is not necessary. Just clean and spray away. Though it does need heat to cure it between layers. If its on the rocker cover, a short drive should do. Make sure you drive between each coat, and the more coats, the better the results apparently too.
