Crakced wing

ive got a small crack in the front wing of my valver.

whats the best way to repair it?? is it possible to repair it??

there are firms that can carry out plastic repairs but i dont know how much it would cost in relation to just buying a new wing.

Well your looking at about £40 for a pair of wings, so about £20 for one, and if you get it in the right colour, i would say that would be cheaper?

good old tungy grey valver u got there mate. but it will be difficult to find one that is being broken to nick the wings off it. took me months and months to find my valver front end.

heheh, you shoudl have done what i have m8, i have a met gry bonnet on mine atm, being sprayed next week

theres a wing for sale on here but its blue - dont really want to have to pay for spraying etc.

the crack isnt too bad, i hoped it could be repaired from the back without much showing on the top.

wing was like this when i got me car, if i slacken off the bolt holding it on i might be able to close the gap then tighten it back up - just wondered how to do a permanent fix

if you take the wing off you shoudl be able to get some fibregalss resin and just smear it over the back, or even sommet like araldite

the crack is hardly visible with the bonnet closed anyway, just one of those things that bugs me because i know its there
