Roundabout collisions are always very difficult to establish liability on and a large majority settle on a 50/50 basis, i would suggest you get photos of roundabout, ask the third party (technical speak for the old bint) to confirm where she was coming from and where she was going, ask her to confirm if she looked before entering roundabout. Is the approach to the roundabout clear ie no hedges blocking views? Did you have your lights on? The areas of damage usually speak for themselves.

In respect of the airfilter as long as the rest of the car is not bodykitted out etc with nothing admitted to insurance then you will be fine. If they tried to turn the claim down I can easily tell you how to shove it straight back at them.
