i reckon its because people that wantted them are getting older, and are now able to afford
insurance/running on a more superior car. (m3, evo etc)

Ive found the my Mk2 172 the perfect car for me at the time. Bought its new when I was 21 and its never let me down in the two years Ive owned it. Hasnt had any of the common problems or rattles etc.

Ive enjoyed it a lot but now want something quicker, bigger and more refined so Im after a Megane 225. I must be getting old!!! haha

agreed!the 172/182 is a good stepping stone/compromise car!

Id agree with that. As well as being one of the best hot hatches, its also one of the cheapest so its no suprise that its pretty popular. Does seem to be a lot for sale at the moment.

Im actually going to be advertising mine soon!

They are cheap to buy, people get them for a year and enjoy the hell out of them then sell it on, probably due to insurance costs etc. Im only keeping mine for 1-3 years then getting a DCi, as much as I love my Cup I have things like property and family to think of in the near future.
