I took my car in to be washed and valeted at the local place last weekend and after they had finished, whenever i put the car into first, third or 5th, something is now creaking.
It sounds like more like the plastic surround than the actual gearbox itself but i cant work out how it being cleaned can have caused it to start creaking.
It's not a massive issue but bloody annoying. Anyone any suggestions?
