Creaking in the cold???

Is this common when maneuvering (sp) esp in really cold weather?
Also when on full lock get a creaking noise cold or not!

It is the strut top bearings.

So all I need to get is the two washers and that will sort my problem?
Where exactly do they go? I'm female remember lol

these washers go under the strut top cups under the bonnet; dead easy to fit - undo the nut (might need to use an impact wrench), remove the nut and the cup (they're pressed together and come off as one assembly) then just drop the spacer washer over the damper rod and replace the cup and nut.

there's a thread that Fred @ Yozzasport started some time ago that has photos in it - it'll probably pop up on search.

they haven't completely cured the creaky steering on mine but they seem to have helped.
