Cruise Control fault and Brake pedal noise

Hi, I have been having an issue for a while when I 'lightly' press the brake pedal I get a vibration feedback through the pedal. I chnage the discs and pads front and back but this didn't help. Also I have noticed the cruise control has stopped working - could these be related? The cruise lights appear on the dash ok, but thats all that happens.

Just a follow up to this, still not sure about the cruise control, but looks like a metal 'ring' on the CV boot is broken, giving the brake noise at low speeds, garage is looking into seeing if I can just replace just the CV boot or if I need to replace the entire drive shaft as well - as it's a 182?
