CS Name Badges

I've done a search but nothing specific came up...

Most of us attend meets regulary and most of the time you end up speaking to someone who you don't know etc...

What's people's opinions on like a little name bade with your username on, for meets/events etc?

Or even personalised sticker for the car with it on etc?

Discuss.

I like the idea, but with the larger meets you generally stand next to your car (if your talking vinyl name badges)

People's social skills have obviously taken a tumble with Facebook, twitter and phone messaging/texting taking off! ;)

You ever tried to stop a fat ginger bloke sitting on your face?

You don't want that.

Name badges should be banned from existence.

If you don't talk to anyone on here, then a name badge isn't going to make any odds, if you do talk to someone on here and you're too odd/retarded to walk up to that person IRL, then you need help.

Dan, sitting on his face? Because you're too lazy/chubby to stand?

flol Charlie typed Fat Ginger into google, I got exactly the same result but he had to much hair!

Are you on the pop tonight Matt?;)
1st swapping cars and now name badges, next it will be Clio swingers meets lol.

Ok so some interesting debate there. Let me put my opinion out there; I'm totally against name badges as you would look like a complete window licker ( I put it out there for a debate) although a little sticker for the car is, in my opinion an interesting idea. Sure someone has it on here and it looks ok...

And no I havnt been drinking last night, forum was abit stale so decided to start a polarising topic ;)

A small sticker for the car wouldn't be the end of the world, and not bad for shows - so people know who's car they're, looking at.

It'd have to be properly discreet though.

On cars are pointless as everyone gets out and walks off.

f**k sake.

What ever happened to introducing yourself like a normal human being?

Most people can't manage it. Hundreds of people came into the tepee at FCS. A handful said who they were, at most.

The amount of people I said hello to and tried to start a conversation and only got a grunt was quite worrying.

I have an idea for future shows but it's a surprise.

Lol. That happened a lot on Sunday.

Get back on here Sunday night/Monday.. 'Oh Revels, I was the one next to you wearing <whatever>'

Or you just get people talking to you because they know who you are but you have no clue who they are. Ey Rob..

I'd never met you but made an educated guess.. ;)

TBH Dan I didn't look that different, you must have been tired! (Oh, and I'm kind of a big deal)

I was awful in the morning, about 6 people said hello to me and I had to ask who they were! (This was 90% hangover though)

You coming to CSS Roy?

I spoke to a lot of people at FCS and i don't have the foggiest who they are! But then I doubt they knew who I was either.
