cup brake compensater?

hello all just had my 52 plate cup motd and it failed because theres a spring possibly missing from the brake compensater?.should it have this spring or could this have been removed for the cup version?cheers for any help lee

as dan says its been talked about the lot (but to save you the hassle it never had one, cups didnt have them ) iirc

they do have the compensator , they dont have the link rod to the axle as they are set at factory. as said above though , do a search as this has been covered many times before. ask your garage to check the mot news letter 31 . its all on there for them to see.

As per renault on the RS forum, the car Does not have or need one. If the Test station fails it, advise them there is something in their handbook regarding the cup (or the other option is to get 2 people in the back and it should pass then) lol
