Cup Brakes

Im due to collect my Cup in approx 2 weeks and Im worried about what Ive followed in the threads on the brake bias valve issue.

Ive looked at 2 Cups in the last week, both at a dealer, one with the link between the valve and the rear beam and one without............so what am I supposed to make of that.

I know it may seem like going over old ground, but is there a definitive answer on this ?

Cheers.

I saw Rich-Ds message about it being a false alarm, but then how do you explain why some cars have it and others dont ?

Are some of the guys posting on here on the "inside" (reno techies) ? Can they give a definitive answer ? I dont want to seem like I doubt any of these guys, but unless theres a clear explanation, it seems like something is wrong.

I think this needs to be taken right to the top. Theres no point in asking the dealers. Someone at Renault UK needs to take it up with the actual engineers at Renaultsport in France.

Damn right it should be.

Any suggestions about the best way of going about this ?

There must be an official/formal route to go thru with things like this.......does anyone know or have any experience of this ?

Id like to think that if a large number of Cup owners got together and this was publicised more widely (eg: car mag) then the frogs would sit up and take notice. I know of people who have used the "What Car? Car Clinic" to deal with major gripes/safety queries, etc with good results.
