******Cup Clutch Pedal******

I have noticed the clutch pedal slightly moving higher & higher, the clutch pedal is now about 1 inch above the brake pedal. The bite is also about 1/2 inch from the top. I personally think the clutch is shagged.

Any advice, as the dealer told be to go away as they was nothing wrong!

Not the same problem but I would like to drop the biting point on the clutch peddle.

Sounds like the problem I had - and yes it was a very worn / nearly out clutch!!

Are you finding it hard to change gear without a bit of jolt - and in traffic its a pain to pull off and regulate what your doing with the clutch and accel??

There isnt any adjustment on them as they are hydraulic - so it sounds like youve got to go down the same route as me ie : "well take it apart and if its abuse its down to you, if not its warranty"

Top tip - It was abuse, but I still got it under warranty due to moaning a lot at them but in a nice way!!

there is a linkage rod on the clutch pedal that can be adjusted in length so you could adjust the pedal height if you wanted.

So pedal height is adjustable but the actual biting point of the clutch isnt is that right??

Renault told me they couldnt adjust it (Thats what I initially asked them to do) and it could only be put down to a problem and that they would need to strip it and investigate...it was the only way!!
