Cup - Colour coded side strips

Has anyone had the side strips on their Cup colour coded? If so you got pics and prices?

Yea, they do look odd, but I kinda like them not laquered.. its, different.

They are painted in a matt finish, like the interior trim parts...

Will they last then if they are not laquered, with all the weather conditions and stones etc, wont they start to f**k up??

The Cup side strips look totally gash, they look so cheap and get little swirly white marks all over them which are hard to get out. I saw a Cup in Kircaldy with a colour coded front splitter and side strips and it looked so much cleaner.

Its hard to get polish off the side strips...

They are meant to be like that! Keep it original - u know how good a totally original Williams looks!!

Neil, take your car to R&A Coachworks Dunfermline and get them sprayed. They can take the side strips off so you will be able to use the car in between times. They do a top job there. I agree with you that the matt sidestips look gash. Will look the biz with a matching metallic base coat and lacquer.
