Cup engine or not?

Hi, is there any way of telling if my 172 cup has a cup engine because it hasn't got the rs stamp
on the lower inlet. It also has a fuel rail guard whereas my mates cup doesn't.

The 182 engines had the RS stamps.

172 engines are the same (cups don't have engine cover)

ALL 172's / 182's should come with a fuel rail guard.

It really is a mixed bag if you have an RS stamped lower inlet, they are more commonly seen on later 172's and 182's.

Your Clio is more a 192 than a 182.

LOL... try again! They are no where near 182 when they leave the factory.

I must have edited whilst you quoted me, I realised my fatal error and didn't want to upset a lot of 182 owners in the process so opted for '+10bhp'. 220bhp now, right?
