cup fluctuating revs when coming to idle.

My cup seems to be developing a prob. If you are coming to a stop and you depress the clutch the revs fall a way as normal but then shoot up to about 1400 rpm before settling back down again.
The rpm does not fall away again normally either but in steps like 1400rpm, 1200rpm 1000rpm etc. The car has a Rs tuner remap but it has been running this for a couple of months without any problems.
I have done a bit of reading up and i am thinking that maybe it could be throttle related?

sorry matey im being thick are you saying it does the same or you had the same pro . It has only come on in the last week just been outside and plugged in the rs tuner. No fault codes present.

Mine did the same thing - fluctuating revs when returning to idle. It had rstuner 98ron map tooo

Mine dont do that, its standard ecu (no map)

Could be summat to do with the coilpack! or the remap.

Erm not sure if it does. Sold the car now you'll have to ask tupps on here. Havent noticed it ages...
