cup front splitter

hi peeps hope you can help i drive a 55 plate none cup 182 but fancy a frontsplitter. anyone know where ill get one and how much cheers.

K-Tec do a Carbon Fibre Front Splitter which looks excellent imo. I only bought one as at the time it was cheaper than the Renault one, but I love it now. Its gone up in price a little since then though...

Yep thats right. Exactly the same shape/style as the Renault one.

How do you fit these spoilers...is it a bumper off and bolt on job or screws?

self tapping screws & you dont need the bumper off.. you can do it on your own, if you like to do a bit of swearing...

hehe, did mine without raising the car, my missus said it couldn't be done but I squeezed under there! Took about an hour but I made sure it was really secure (8 screws I think, Renault use about 4 iirc)

In fairness though it was easier than changing my front bulbs, that was a bloody nightmare

How long are the self tappers used to secure the splitter?

'bout 20mm, trick is to pilot drill the holes into the splitter before trying to attach it to the bumper, as you could never get a drill under there if you're not putting the car on a ramp.

yep, used my mates ramp to raise the car to shoulder level, nice and easy.
