Cup gets stripped and some new seats!

Soon after this the rear cards and b-pillars were fully removed - this left the car with only the front door cards in and roof lining. The cards will be removed when I have some carbon fibre alternatives and the roof will come out when I can be arsed!!!

Overall, very happy with them although they seem to sit very very high, originally I ordered xtra low frames but when trying to fit them last saturday they were the worst fit possible even though they were labelled up for this mark of clio. I lost faith in cobra's extra low frames and sent them back and asked for a set of normal sliders frames and they fitted perfectly. Just very high.

They'll do for the moment but they'll either need to be sidemounted or see if theres any better extra low frames on the market.

no need for the steering wheel airbag now, loose it before it causes more harm than good......

overall looks good mate, i had similar problems with subframes from cobra with my mark 1 mate

Nice job mate. By removing the seats, the interior and replacing the fronts with those sexy cobra buckets how much weight do you save? Will this take the cup to under 1000kg in weight?

IIRC the cup weighs around 1021 as standard, think i've lost about 50-65kg, I weighed some bits and had saved 30.3kg and still had lots more to weigh.

I will be getting a new wheel soon, prob a 330mm one.
