Cup Springs - Eibach Pro-kit or Sportline

As stated, which springs should I fit....

Eibach Pro Kit - 30mm drop (10-75-001-02-22 )

Eibach Sportline - 45-50mm (20-75-001-03-22 )

I believe that the Sportline kit is a tad bumpier, but I really want the centre of gravity dropped... too much roll.

Aesthetics are pretty important too, looks like a hummer as standard!

Any opinions/experiences of these kits?

Most people fit the Pro kit - its a reasonable compromise between comfort and performance. The Sportline kit will be stiffer, but may not accommodate 17"s if you ever wish to fit them.

According to K-Tecs website -:

The Pro kit lowers the car 30mm all round when fitted to the 172/Cup.

The Sportline kit lowers the car around 20mm at the front and 15mm at the rear.

???

This would make me inclined to chose the Pro Kit.........

And Ive had Halfords telling me that they only have the Pro kit listed and that it lowers the car 15mm and that if I want a "better" kit to lower it 30mm from Eibach I have to fork out £211!:confused::confused:

Because of all the confusion over the drop, I settled on some Spax springs as Ive used them before and they were very good indeed.

Ive been confused about all this eibach stuff, too. I use Demon Tweeks for all my work (I live 4 miles form them:D), but even they reckon theres only one kit available and it lowers only 5-10mm. I thought stuff it, so Im having them fitted next Friday - Im going to do my own before and after measurements from ground to highest point of the wheel arches. Theyre costing £204 inc VAT & fitting & geometry set-up.

Ive got the Pro-Kit springs and they lowered the front 15mm and the back 5mm. The Sportline kit is stiffer and lowers the car approx. 30mm. K-Tec have got it the wrong way round!!

The Pro-Kit is great - not too bumpy, but really enhances the handling.
