Cup Suspension or Coilovers???

Is it worth changing my cup suspension for a set of coilovers??? Am happy with the ride at the mo but it needs to be abit lower. I don't want just springs. If i changed it i wud go all out and get a nice set of coilovers.

If your gonna be tracking it a lot, and doing a lot of back road thrashing i'd say coilovers though if you just want it it a little lower the Apex -40mm springs provide a nice drop without costing a fortune.....
 
If you are going for springs get either eibachs(better ride) or apex(bigger drop but firmer) or LEDA coilovers as of what i know is on the market (very little) at the moment they're probably the best bet but they arent cheap.
 
Definately worth it. The best mod I have made to my car easily, ledas on a cupped 182.

Unfortunately not much choice and no mid range ones (£650ish). Either cheap or expensive. IMO dont bother if you cant afford the ledas. Eibach sportlines would be a worthwhile upgrade.

FK's = £500ish
H&R's = £700ish
GAZ gold = £700ish
KW's = £750ish
LEDA = £1Kish
Bilstein = £1600ish

Eibach have always got good feedback and i have them also and recommend them over APEX, if you just want springs.

I thought that KW's and H&R's need to be modified to fit a 182 iirc.
 
On a cupped 182 without modification to bolt spacing?

Dont know about Gaz Gold but FK's H&R's and KW's wont fit.

Has anyone fitted GAZ Golds yet?
