Cup Tracking / Pull

  X-172 Cup
Noticed there is a light steer to the left on my car, you wouldn't notice it until you are driving in a straight line on a motorway/dual carriageway then you notice the car steering slightly to the left, hence the driver needs to 'countersteer' right...

Do you know anybody who can fix this? I need a proper job doing, I have had the tracking done on other cars and 9 times out of ten they don't get it right and you end up with it even worse or pulling in the other direction:mad:

Like I said it's only a slight pull but any decent driver would notice it ;)

I've always been of the opinion that 99% of tracking places dont have the first clue. They seem to select a generic value for all front drive cars. Some have no clue and often end up with the wheel off centre.

For what its worth, my 182 Cup has alwasys been slightly out from birth.

Go to the garage in Whitchurch by the station £30 they charge or so I'll be going back there again when I get my suspension fixed.
There very good.

i bought mine & the tracking was fine.. then after a while (and a tyre change) i had it done at kwik *hit twice & it was worse than before.. now it's been to renault twice, 1st time it was awful afterwards. The 2nd time the chap said "I've alligned it with the engine running, so should be fine now" and guess what... pulls quite badly to the left still!

Always the same i find with tracking.
If yours is just slightly to the left isn't that correct??.. they are supposed to pull slightly (but only very slightly) to the curb i think

Mine pulls very slightly to the right, exactly the same as my megane before I had the Clio. I can live with it as im used to it.

tracking ? normally goes out if u hit a kerb or summert like that :S
It can go with a lot of things track days can adjust it or hard driving on the road.

They are supposed to be dead center the camber of the road should pull you to the left so that if you went to sleep the car would naturally drive off onto the cuub rarther than the other side of the road but if you were on the continetn iot would pull to the other side due to there camber of the road.
Renault are usless with tracking for some reason try and decinet back street garage.

Doing the tracking with the engine running shows there skill level having the engine running makes no difference it makes it a bit dangerous IMO.

Mines pulls slightly to the left. but only slightly. As said above probably just the camber of the road
