Cup Tyres

Anyone found decent tyres out there, emphasis on a good price (£60 - £70 each, that last longer than 6K, without compromising grip? Especially of interest to me, as I do approx 2.5K a month and the torque steer just kills the tyres!

Cheers for the site, but its more the torque steer when you nail it in first and second that scrubs them, not being a nob and wheelspinning. Maybe I shouldnt boot it everywhere!

Ive just hit 9000 miles in my cup, and I seem to be sliding all over the place all of a sudden, eg severely understeering when powering around roundabouts at 20-25mph - its fun, but not intentionally so. Tread depth looks fine, and theres no uneveness to the wear, so is it just that contis are sh*te?

I have found that also ive just done 6 k and the tyres seem to have lost some grip, the contis were brilliant for the first 5500k. The tread looks fine tho?!?!
