How many were made blue / silver total? was it 500 , 1000 or 2000?

Platinum Renault in Trowbridge, Wilts have a silver 172 Cup for sale at the moment. Never liked them in photos but damn is it nice, the paintwork compliments the Turinis so well.

Sadly its £9k (!) on a 53 plate with 23k covered, bargain!

From what I can gather there were 3000 or thereabouts made. Out of that I think that IIRC there are 300 silver ones made. So it should be 2700 mondial blue and 300 silver. (Sure Ill be corrected if Im wrong!)

Saw a cup today, i dont think they are that rare. silver cups r well rare thou, never seen one of them outside of a car show with french cars.

I think there were less than 100 siler ones made. Far less with Climate Control.

Mine will be up for sale soon sadly.
