custom closed air kit

after i questioned many ppl about what they had made/bought for closed air kits iv finally came up and made thishttp://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/987/im000167.jpg

all i need to do now is cut the pipe where the black line is and weld on he braket/convertor bit i made that turns the valver throttle into a circle

the kit sits right behind the front grill next to the head light, facing down slightly, il get more pics up when its fitted

hopefully will be good for getting cold air and it had a chrome/mirror back to shield engine heat

Cool thats where my viper sits just behind the grill. However i am still trying to sort out a air feed for it.

steve is that adaptor simlar to what u have? then, cheers for the advice on making it

Yeah pretty much just with a little lip on it so i can fit the samco hose on. Good work there mate. Dont forget to use some silicon or something on the back of the plate so it forms a good seal to the throttle body plate. I used some dynamate on mine.

what i was going to use with mine was just turning the std sponge bit around so it fastens to that side rather than the metal when bolting it on?

i dont really want to seal it incase it needs to be removed?!

Yeah just use some dynamate or something along the same lines that way you can take it off when you want. It just sticks to the back of the adaptor plate.
