Cut airbag ECU off car. will this affect?

Cut the wires going to airbag ECU and removed. will this affect the main ECU and cause not to start?

No. I run mine with only a few wires coming out for communication with the dash and am relocating it to within the dash. You'll fail and MOT if the airbag light doesn't come on, check, and then go out.
