CV Boot Clip Size

Hi all,

Not near the car at the moment but could do with knowing this. When knocking my bumper brackets out of the way yesterday, I noticed that the smaller end of the CV boot had been leaking grease as someone had cable tied it and it had come loose. The CV boot itself is fine so I'm planning to pack some grease in and use a jubilee clip to secure it in place and stop it leaking.

What size do I need for the wider end (towards the outer of the car) and the smaller end (towards the inner of the car)?

Just to update this for anybody that may be doing the same. This is for the outer CV boot.

You'll need a 70-90 clip for the wider end and 25-35 for the smaller end.

Need to replace my boot clips and just did a search for this thread so thanks for updating it with the sizes mate!
