CV boot clip...

Tried to fit one for Slammed172 today when I played with his coilovers, could nto do it to save my life!!

Is there a nack to getting it on, or just persevere slipping about in grease until you get lucky?!

Ive just got a cable tie on mine lol!
My boot fell off, feking grease got EVERYWHERE!

Really gotta clean up as much of the grease as you can otherwise it'll probably just slip off later anyway.

They are alot better than the renault clips - mine snapped off piece of piss.

buy the biggest one then cut it down

cable tie FTW, tighten jubilee too tight and it will start to cut into the boot

Jubilee's are ok, just gotta make sure they've got clearance to the hub and stuff. I prefer the proper metal c.v ties, and clean all gease off the outside of the boot.

80-100mm jubilee clip is what you need, far better than the standard Renault clips and a million times better than a tie wrap.

you can normally get a box of 10 on ebay for about a fiver
