CV Boot clip

  Not got a car
When changing my brakes noticed grease and turd everywhere, there was no clip on the boot so i rushed to the DIY shop and got a jublee clip as i thought it would be idle, But the head on the jublee clip hits a head of a nut and a lip of where the brake line go, So i have to pull the boot back a little more.

Will this be ok? seems to be ok.

Thats what i did. and mine was fine. Allthough its like an unbalanced wheel if you think about it. It would be better if you got come brake cleaner/degreaser and cleaned it up so it doesnt slip off.

yeah ive cleaned it up, tried all the dif degreaser i got and it just smears. I tried a cable tie but i couldnt get it tight and the boot just slid back and forth.

Just hope theres enough meatal underneith for the clip to clap down on.

only took it for a quick run down the road to see if brakes work, if i get any ill just take it somewhere to fit the proper clip
