CV boot (i think) help.

Car  Tango'd PB 1.2 16V
I fitted a new ball joint the other day, and it had seized on.
So a guy on my street who was giving me a hand twatted it with a hammer, and it's split the CV boot. (the wierd cone looking thing?)
Now its splooging gunk out everywhere all over my wheel. (passenger side)
Its torn the tiniest bit, i've tried to seal it, but having no luck.
Do i need a new one, or any other ideas what to do?
I wanted it sorting before i put the new alloys on.
Cheers.

only real option is a new one. dont wana leave it to long split if you get grit in there water etc it wont be good for it. think there about 30 to have done. just make sure you clean up all of the grease after
