CV boot repair, guidance needed...

Car  AB182, Audi A5 3.0
Replaced my brake discs yesterday and was greeted with the sticky gunge of cv grease splatter everywhere! The outer clip on my drivers side CV boot has come off and the grease has obviously been being chucked out for a while. I have just cable tied it back on for now. CV isn't knocking though so I think it just needs a repack maybe. Can you get repack/repair kits for the 182 CV's? Or do I just buy some CV grease and a clip of some type? what clip/tie should I be using/buying?

Many thanks.

Stepless ear clamp/oetiker is best. Jubilee will do if you can't get one in the correct size to go on though. They're a b**ch by hand.

thanks budgie.

is there good/bad greases to use? I assume no kits available inclusive of everything needed?

Any CV grease will do tbh. You can buy it in motor factors for about £5 a tub.

Don't fill it to the max, just chuck a decent enough in!
