CV boot replacement

how long should it take a mechanic to replace the off side outer and near side inner CV boots?
was told about an hour and a hlaf plus parts.
sound about right?????

hour an a half per side i would say

depends how he does it, if he's using a neoprene type boot with a cv strech tool, then the outer one will take no time at all

drive shaft needs to come off for nearside inner so thats going to include draining gbox oil and refilling not sure if the shaft has to come off for the other side but 1.5hrs doesnt sound 2 bad.

he said about 90 quid for both? sound good?

^Yep not bad. I just done mine did both sides in under 2hrs inc a new driveshaft boot.
