CV Gaiter Split? with pics

Hi guys

was replacing my brake discs today and when i was doing the near side i noticed a bit of a leak.

took some pics:









The jubilee clip was covered in the gunk too so i cleaned it off.

do you think the gaitor is leaking? or does the leakage look like its happened before and not cleaned up?

cant see any slits in the gaiter, any true way to tell it needs replacing?

i will have a look again tomorrow.

change the gaitor and re gease it before the cv joint gets fooked, but check the joint first as damaged mite already have been done

just had the wheel off again, no visible rips in the gaiter at all, gave it a good clean and tightened the jubilee clip as it was bit loose.

should be reet now but will check again next week, if theres more grease leaked then il get it sorted
