cv joint maybe

ive got a 53plate 172 with hardly any miles on it so im abit puzzled as to why this is happening. when i hit a little bump when ive turned the steering it nocks on the drivers side. and when i put it on full lock going forwards and backwards it nocks aswell. i assume its the cv joint. wot does every1 think. and how much would it cost to get it done a renault or am i better off attempting it myself. im not to bad with a spanner.
any advice much appreciated

just had a good look round the wheel area and all looks well. i'm all out of ideas. can some1 please help me

Mines just gone in for a new driveshaft for the symptoms you describe

Mine has just failed its MOT because of it!!!!!!!!!!

Never really heard any knocking though (prob because the stereo is always up)

But hopefully will be fixed by the time i get home:rasp:

Had this problem. had to have drive shaft replaced. problem fixed.

Cost 250 quid
