Cyberpunk 2077

i am enjoying it so much more than the first time i played it, with all the updates they have made it plays so much better, and is so much smoother, you still get the odd little glitch but overall it's a brilliant game.

The only downside for me is the Cyberware upgrades, i find them hard work, so many different options, i much prefer the fallout method, level up and choose a perk, just makes things much simpler.
It's probably one of the weakest points of the game. Likewise with the inventory management - there's obvious colour codings for the tier that the item is on, but without checking the value and the individual stats within the description - it's not always obvious which is better.

One problem that leads me to pick up loads of unnecessary s**t as well is when looting dead enemies. Scroll through the three items there and pick the one you want. Works fine. Move the next dead body - another three items. I only want the bottom one - scroll to the bottom and select - it takes the top one. Try again with the items left 'I just want the bottom one, FFS'. Highlight that and click again. Takes the top item once again.

Just does that completely at random with seemingly no obvious reason to it.

Bloody annoying when you hoover up Tier-1 crap from some goon you've just taken out though!

Still finding the quick-hacks of suicide, pulling the pin on a grenade and the cyberpsychosis to be funnier to inflict on the enemies than they should.

I loot everything, sell guns early doors to make a quick Eurodollar and then I scrap them along with all the clothes and junk. You then gain crafting items. White is the lowest tier, then Green, Blue, Purple and Gold which is EPIC. You need them to upgrade cyberwear and you can convert each one into the next tier so long as you have enough.

Yeah, I tend to get to about 400k or similar and then splurge on cyberwear and upgrades.

A good way of making money and resources is to steal cars for that El Capitan, I've found. Got an achievement for helping him earlier too.

One of the few games I've blitzed. Though I'm still finding new things.

So, this is my first playthrough using Sandi and OMG, why have I waiting till my fith playthrough to make a Sandi build.

I've waited a particular long time before getting it installed, but it was worth the wait. I'm clearing rooms out in seconds.

Just incase anybody is interested, this is my build currently. However it is already out of date, as I've removed perk points from Intelligence.

Meeting Takemura at that dodgy underpass at the waterfront, I noticed something I'd never noticed before... the "Bakeneko" cat while you speak to Oda. 5 years and 800hrs and I've never noticed.

I'll have to get some of my own stats up. I maxed out Cool early on to get the critical hit bonuses, but other than that, it's a bit of a passive skill tree I find.

I do wish Cyberpunk would rail-road you more down more focused paths. Its easy to fall into the 'skilled in many - master of none' category and if it was more specific, I think the replay value would be higher than it is. For as much fun and enjoyment I've had with 2077, I doubt I'll replay it through again fully.

Spotted that bakeneko cat when I was speaking to Takemura on one of the roof-tops. Is that scene above when that other bloke turns up in his car?

Some of the missions have been great - really have had fun with them. Have you got Ozob's nose grenade yet?

I know what you mean, the skill tree is way more in depth than say Fallout. There are perks that relate to other perks or weapon types and until you have it explained to you it's almost an overload of information. I'm mostly played this as a stealth edgerunner and I thought this time round I'd try a Sandevistan build with shotguns and quite frankly, I can't believe I've never done it before. It's so much fun, jumping and dashing into a group of enemy's and firing them across a room full of shotgun shite whilst I'm moving around the room in the blink of an eye.

Yeah, that's that scene. When you've done it a few times you get chance to notice the details.

Yeah, I've beat him by hitting his nose in Beat the Brat and also by hitting him low down (so I don't blow his head off). Great how they've thought of so many different ways of defeating him or not.

I don't really 'get' the clothing and outfits?

So you can create different outfits to change into - but like in my image above - the item in the head slot doesn't match what he's currently wearing. Seems odd.

So, originally clothing mattered. However, there was a lot of kickback regarding not being able to dress you're character however you liked, due to certain clothes having features you couldn't normally get.

They made massive changes to the game and made it so you could dress however you liked, but certain items would still have benefits like armour or quicker upload times etc. So, it meant you could still dress your character like a f**king bad ass but still get the benefits of wearing a Pink headscarf, because it gave you a +20 boost to armour.

It was a change for the better, because your character would look like they'd raided the lost and found at a school PE lesson.

I wouldn't normally be fussed on aesthetics of in-game items, but I wish I could revert the guns to be plain dark grey/black or something?

I've actively not used certain weapons because of the silly bright red and luminous yellow striping effects on them!

I think the clothing thing was down to some people being heavily into the cyberpunk genre and it didn't allow their creative role playing dreams flow because you were wearing an Orange beanie hat, biker googles, Pink crop top, Arasaka brute body armour, Suit pants and some Blue heavy bother boots. You looked a tw@ but your character had amazing amour figures, ability to run silently and talk your way out of situations because you've got suit pants on. :ROFLMAO:

I do agree with the guns, I wish some of the Barghest guns were black/grey. You build/dress a character a very specific way to look stealthy but they have a bright green gun.

Totally agree with the above, the skill tree is way to complicated, i have never really been too bothered about what my character looks like, i would always take a bonus or better stats over looks...lol.

I am trying to bend towards Netrunner build, i always tend to go stealth and sniper so want to try something different, but it just seems like such a waste and let down not shooting people, so i am trying to go netrunner/sniper ish, currently trying to get more RAM as i can't Cyberdeck harder enemies at the moment.
