Locked my car keys in my car at work, the cars got no ticket on it, so iv chance of getting a ticket, and all my money and everything is in the car, my house key is in the car so therefore cant get into my house for my spare car key god knows what im gonna do

Smash the window! Phone autoglass in advance. Probably cheaper than getting ticket and still having to smash window.

They bent my mates door when they did his.

Joel, if yours is a 5 door then the rear qtr glass costs £45

It may not work but on a Fiesta you can pull the rubber off the front window sill, and slide your number plate down to pop the lock.

I dont think it does work as the 2 times my Clio RT got broken in to they bent the lock and smashed the window!

nah its only 3 door, i think my nanan might have a spair key to my house but i cant get in touch with her

^^ u can do that on most cars i think

pull off plastic cover and then slide a coat hanger with hook down 2 the lock, can take some time and be quite tricky

might b worth ringing rac or aa if ur with 1 of em and sseeing what they recommend or what they can do or whether its just best 2 small a small window and get in2 the car

How did you manage to lock keys in the car any way?

I did it in my 16v - got a concept 500 alarm, made a funny noise so I got out, popped the bonnet and revved it from the engine bay.

Of course as soon as it hit 1,500 rpms the door locked on me. With the engine running and keys in it.

Luckily my mate was with me and he waited while I ran home in the rain to get the spare key.

with the old 1.2s you can lock the doors by lifting the outside handle, and pushing the lock down...

i do it all the time...

locked myself out in town on a nite out once... gutted

ye the well wot i did was, went to pick some priner toners up from another building within the barnsley council, all the doors were locked, i turn the alarm off, put the toners down, opened the passenger door, put my car keys on passenger seat, then put the big toners in the car, locked the door from the door by pulling the handle up then shut the door

hahaha its a small world innit, just spoke to joel on msn, turns out he lives about 5mins from me, went to school with a load of my mates, and was in the same class as my ex.

What makes me laugh is that when we lock our keys in the car it causes us hell.


Yet the average 14 year old council estate resident could probably get that door open with out causing any damage in less than 10 seconds.
