Iv got a 197 and got a new exhaust system and thinking about getting it d-cat and getting a straight through pipe,

what do you think?

What do you want to Decat it for? Not worth it IMO unless you have a friendly tester.

What's the point. It's not going to make any difference to performance unless you map it, even then the differences will be minimal, yet it'll fail it's mot, and you'll have a eml light on at all times. Get a decent exhaust system IMO

It does make a noticeable difference without a decat specific map although what you say about getting a good exhaust 100% stands

I run my 182 without any EML

Just put the cat back on for the MOT

If you get a cat back just sleeve the cat
