d/shaft bearing into bracket???

or is it a case of getting it pressed in there.

as the old one came out with a whack with a shitty hammer so i thought it would be quite east to get the new one in:S

Driveshaft bearing, i can only presume you mean wheel bearing, and bracket......hub maybe?

Or do you mean teh end of the driveshaft into the hub?

as in this pic the bearing is fixed to the drive shaft but i can't get the new one back into the bracket
