D-Tox Results

Hi all

Last yr I got a free bottle of that D-Tox engine cleaner at the motor show and because my ST had only done 600miles didn't seem worth using it.

I found it the other day and with my 172 having done 37000miles I put the whole bottle in with 1/2 tank of V-Power (it says for a full tank but too dilute in my opinion).

Anyway, it ran a little rough while in there, but I put a fresh 1/2 tank of V-Power in a couple of days ago and....wow! The engine is MUCH smoother, ALOT quieter and the car doesn't judder as much when stationary at idle.

Always dubious about these type of things, but definitly worth it.

Anyone else tried it?

Yeh, don't use it all the time. But Once every 15k - 20k miles isn't going to hurt, I ran it concentration first time though but I'll fully dilute it next time

i used it once, and i ended up with water in my sparks, and engine light on.
also didnt do anything
