Daisy Chaining Amps??

Greetings.

I have a vibe sub enclosure with a built in amp. Today I have just aquired another identical unit. And I want both in my van...

My question is, If I can't be bothered to re-wire another amp kit, can I not just run this new unit off the existing one? Kind of like this...

Headunit -----------> Amp1 ----------> Amp2.

If this is possible It will make me a very happy man! :D

with the phono leads yes

if the supply cable is big enough then yes

Phono leads!! Ah s**t, I forgot about them... I'm assuming I'd need an output on the amp for this to work?? I need to check that...

There's no problem running them both off the same power cable, as long as it is substantial enough to cope with the power demands, just buy a Y splitter and split it.

Same applies to the Phono cable. Make sure you have the same length cable between the splitter and each amp though... otherwise you'll end up with one slightly out of phase.... It would have to be a substantial difference in length to be noticeable, but worth doing anyway.

You can just double up the 12V input in one of the amps and stick it in the other one.

Job's a good'un
