Damage butterfly valve on TB if moved

If I move the butteryfly valve in the throttle body to clean it, will it do any damage, like knocking the calibration out for instance? If so, is there any way of resetting the calibration? As I moved it the weekend and the car now revs up and down when idling.

I very much doubt you have damaged it. I suspect you have an airleak somewhere

How would I go about trying to find the leak if I did have one? The thing is, the revs only go up and down once the engine is warmed up, its fine for a few minutes when starting from cold.
