Damage help?!

What it is, i was going around the corner and a car was speeding towards me but before i was able to get out the way completely, the car clipped my front bumper on the drivers side and as i tried to turn away i hit the curb (on the passenger side front wheel.... the air bag came out. As i tried to move the car it was like the wheel was moving towards the passenger door and i could not steer left or right when i was moving forward, but when i reverse the steering is fine.. so i had to reverse it all the way home.

Any ideas what it might be? i have no idea so wanted some sort of idea before having to pay so much to get it repaired.

I lol'd, sounds like the steering rack is fucked. Surely the insurance will sort this out?

Im sure they would.... But the pr**k who hit me drove off before i had the chance to get out and take his details.... so im f**ked basically and dont fancy paying a 750 pound excess when the insurance try and rape me

there's a strong chance its the tie bar ive repaired many with the same problem as yours

That's going to be only part of your worries to... SRS ECM will also need replacing as it will have recorded the impact/detonation.
