Damaged clutch fork and guide on 172

  2002 Clio 172
The clutch bearing began to get noisy on my ph2 172 last week. As a result i've been getting quotes etc whilst still using it. Yesterday, whilst away from home, it went completely, around the corner from a national chain of garages. The car is now there having a new clutch as it was undrivable and I need it for work on monday. The garage have just rang and told me that I have badly damaged the clutch fork and guide, to the point they need replacing. They say this is because i have been driving it whilst the bearing is shot. The cost is £75 for new fork and guide. Is this possible, I have no idea? Is £75 a reasonable price for the parts, or are the garage trying to have me over?
