Well... my car got spitroasted today. Between a ford focus with a towbar in front and an autoglass van doing 40mph from the back!

I was stopped at a redlight on a roundabout in the middle lane sitting there when whammo! Sucks... probably gonna get written off. I had to totally let the spare wheel down just to access the toolbox underneath with the towing eye... But coppers showed up and gave me an escort to the nearest halfords where I tied the bonnet down with a strap from them and then drove it home at 20mph with hazards on all the way... that was pretty scary on national speed limit roads... so many douchebags overtaking dangerously i thought i was gonna get in another crash. But all was well... couldve been worse I guess. I'm over it. Shame though as was in such good nick... def a really nice car to drive...

Make sure you have witnesses because in the insurance world the guy you hit wil claim off your your ins and you have to prove the guy hit you from behind and pushed you into him, rather than you hitting him and then the autoglass guy hitting you afterwards.

Sounds weird but that us what will happen, I had exactly the same, took months and a threat of court before it was settled....

this was mine when a van driver pulled across me.

They offered me £500 less than i paid for it, or a repair, was a no brainer. Picked up lovely low mileage dynamic dci yesterday

sorry mate its unlucky, even though it wasnt your fault it will increase your premium next year as i found! I was stationary and some numpy smashed into me but according to the insurance co no fault claims norm ally lead to fault claims so therefore increase the insurance! WTF is that about i know bloody insurance comps biggest scam ever invented if u ask me!

having just litterally gone through all this you probably wont get your money through for a good week or two yet. Although my insurer paid fairly, for that money you should get a nice little car for the money. I overlooked aircon so new car hasnt got it:dapprove: gutted. But love it in every other way.

At least your ok mate, these things certainly grab your attention. I had a DHL driver pull across and basically stop in the middle of hte road around a blind corner. So not a chance unfortunatly.
